Rhyming Picture Book of the Week: Once Upon a Memory

This week's favorite rhyming picture book is Once Upon a Memory, by Nina Laden. I love the mood of this story, as well as the inquiring and thoughtful language. My favorite line in the book is "Does a cake remember it once was grain? Does an ocean remember it once was rain?"A lovely, quiet, poetic story.
