The rushing blood you
The roaring you
Silenced by the mind.

Frightened of its power
The ear-splitting shattering
All-encompassing
Over-powering
Bone-forming you.
It's been there this whole time
Screaming
Forgotten
Waiting.
Jump into the flooding
The rumbling
Don't dip your toes
Your pinky
Take the leap

Your only life as you
